'hey playmate...'

...come out and play with me!' After much delayed nap time Atticus once again was left wide eyed and friendless, while Jane slumbered on...in spite of his best efforts to wake her with all of the debris from the floor of their bedroom. Lucky for her, he can't climb into her crib.

she is supposed to be asleep...

Obviously she had different ideas...like getting my new phone in her mouth...

And here is one thrown in just because she is cute and photogenic.

Anna banana 6 month stats:

weight: 20lbs 4oz or 95th percentile
length: 28 1/2 inches ... off the charts.

The only thing she didn't pass with flying colors was eating solids...and this is more my fault than hers. I am just lazy and it is easier to nurse! Can I just say...I am so in love with this kid. She has such a pleasant personality and is determined to be in the middle of everything.

Life right now....

Jane was finally introduced to the corner of the toy box yesterday...I don't think there is much of a future for that friendship.

My cute little cuddle bug yesterday:

...and today!

She has joined the ranks of the miserably sick. We have had one crummy week with sickness. Jane started screaming on Friday, and has let up very briefly a few times since then. They are all clingy which means that the one place that they most want to be is my lap...but they want it all to themselves. And while the first time the twins got in a knock-down-drag-out-Atticus-sits-on-Jane's-head fight over my lap it was slightly amusing...it is so. old. now. Seriously. Especially now that Anne has lap priority. Poor babies. Poor Mommy. Poor Daddy. I think that he has come home to me with a blanket over my head and curled up in fetal position at least twice this week.He was nice enough to take over and feed the kids on those days... and now as I type this he is sleeping on the floor with Anne, because she is not allowed on the bed until we know she is not going to puke her guts out(we are running out of bedding). When baby is not allowed on the bed because of the 99% chance that she will throw up a lot...then her sweet daddy sleeps with her on the floor.
