This face says it all:
"I get to go to Maker Faire!"
Waiting for the bus....
Hmmmm, how 'bout we walk instead? We've got an awesome baby pusher...
And button presser...
Oh look a river...
Fun signs led the way...
Bike Valet Parking? Seriously?
Rats...If only we had know we were allowed to bring the cupcake car...
We made it...I mean we got there... he he
This one's for Mark...a steam tractor...
Dueling robots...
Giant wings....
Giant skull...can't remember what the big deal was with this one...
Static electricity anyone?
Random faun spotting...
All in all it was a good day. Kenneth nourished his inner geek. The kids ate $12 worth of cotton candy(even Anne...). We all got sunburned. Saturday success in my book.

happy post to come...
SORRY! I did not mean to that last post to be independent. I just ran out of steam...did you notice how short the post was. Our lives are pretty good right now. I mean WE MISS people...but we are living in a really cool place. I would post more right now, but we are skedaddling out the door to go to a little thing called Maker Faire. Kenneth is in heaven.

the hard...
First day was rough. Jane gets violent anytime she is woken up early. We left for the airport at 3 am...unlucky Atticus, who was sitting beside Jane most of the times she woke up and started swinging.
There was a moment the first day when everyone awake was sobbing uncontrollably...that includes me. Something about all of my kids following me around my house screaming and crying for 2 hours.
Atticus cried so hard he threw up...on my sheets. Thanks buddy. Who knew it would take 4 days from that moment to get the washing machine working.
The next day he(Atticus) climbed on my bed and had a massive blowout all over the comforter...in case you were wondering, that would be 3 days before the washing machine was working.
Gavin asked..."Are we in BEAUMONT now?" oh boy...

Moving...ACK!
So tomorrow is the official load-the-truck Day...And Friday is the official truck-drives-off-toward-California Day. And then Tuesday is the Fly-the-familia-across-the-country-to-a-scary-and-exciting-new-life Day. Can't believe this is already happening. ACK!
A side effect of preparation for moving...Dinner's that consist of seeing how many bowls of Cocoa Roo's your kids can eat. Watching them get wound up like tops...and then crash in a sugar low like waves against the rocks
