the hard...
First day was rough. Jane gets violent anytime she is woken up early. We left for the airport at 3 am...unlucky Atticus, who was sitting beside Jane most of the times she woke up and started swinging.
There was a moment the first day when everyone awake was sobbing uncontrollably...that includes me. Something about all of my kids following me around my house screaming and crying for 2 hours.
Atticus cried so hard he threw up...on my sheets. Thanks buddy. Who knew it would take 4 days from that moment to get the washing machine working.
The next day he(Atticus) climbed on my bed and had a massive blowout all over the comforter...in case you were wondering, that would be 3 days before the washing machine was working.
Gavin asked..."Are we in BEAUMONT now?" oh boy...

Aw, Meg. I'm so sorry. It's going to be a huge adjustment but if anyone can do it you can. =) Glad you have a washer and dryer.
Meg, that is so sad. Happy you have clean things at least until the next throw up/blowout. Sometimes it is difficult to find anything to laugh about isn't it. Tail feather plucker time. Love you lots and lots.
What a rough way to start! You keep your head up, Meg! It can only get better from here. :) Remember you are loved and...well, I don't know. This all sounds lame. It is just hard to move and get adjusted no matter what. I wish I was there to sit on the floor and cry with you! We love you and can't wait to see you again soon!
Meg, I love hearing about the misadventures... mostly because it reminds me that I am normal and that I'm not the only one having a bad day. Kudos to you for keeping it real.
We miss you! Hang in there.
I hate laundry
